EGM TiburonesĀ are a tribute to the indigenous TaĆno community. Early inhabitants of the Caribbean islands, the TaĆnos were the first to recognise the magic of smoked tobacco, often using it as part of their sacred rituals. 'Tiburon' is the TaĆno word for shark. Inspired by their cultural reverence for the sacred leaf, EGM Tiburones embodies the mystical connection between mankind and nature.
These beautifulĀ Dominican PurosĀ are crafted entirely by hand, using long filler leaves, following a centuries-oldĀ Cuban cigarsĀ tradition. The wrapper, filler and binder leaves are grown in the world-renowned Cibao Valley in the heart of the Dominican Republic.
